The Resort · La Romana

A 7,000-acre private resort on the Caribbean.

Casa de Campo® is the Dominican Republic’s flagship private resort community — 7,000 acres on the south coast at La Romana, with three Pete Dye golf courses, a private beach club, a 370-slip marina, the re-created 16th-century artisan village of Altos de Chavón, and one of the Caribbean’s most established luxury real estate markets.

Premier Neighborhoods

The resort’s most established enclaves.

South Coast

Most exclusive enclave. Private peninsula with own beach. $5M–$35M+. Larger lots, newer construction, two layers of security.

South Central

Original luxury enclave. 1980s/90s villas on private peninsula. $5M–$15M+. Walking access to Minitas Beach.

Northeast Cliffs

Cliffside contemporary villas along the Chavón River. $3M–$10M+. Active lot inventory, modern architecture.

Eastern Interior
Eastern interior beside Altos de Chavón. Villas and lots above the Dye Fore courses with ravine views. $8M–$19.5M. Quiet, no through-traffic.
Central Interior
Established central-interior enclave. Single-family villas on larger, mature lots. $3.4M–$6M. The resort’s more attainable entry point.
South Coast
South-coast trophy villas bordering the Teeth of the Dog fairways. Price on request. Most Costamar sales move privately.
What Makes Casa de Campo®

More than a gated community.

A self-contained resort with golf, beach, marina, village, and a real estate market spanning four decades.

World-Class Golf

Three Pete Dye Courses

Teeth of the Dog (recently restored, top-50 in the world), Dye Fore (27 cliffside holes), and The Links (interior, traditional links). Among the best collections of Pete Dye courses anywhere. Pete Dye began work on Teeth of the Dog in 1969; it opened in 1971, and golf has anchored the resort ever since.
Beach & Marina

Minitas Beach + La Marina

A private Caribbean beach with full-service beach club, restaurant, and water sports facility. La Marina is the center of commercial life — 370 slips for vessels to 250+ feet, Forbes-rated waterfront dining, bars, shops. Both are five minutes by cart from most neighborhoods.
Altos de Chavón

A 16th-Century Artisan Village

The Mediterranean village above the Chavón River — restaurants, the School of Design, artisan studios. The 5,000-seat amphitheater, inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in 1982, has since hosted Sting and Iglesias, and continues to stage major concerts during the December–April season.
