Caleton

An exclusive coastal enclave at Casa de Campo®'s western edge
Caleton · Casa de Campo®

Caleton. A small coastal enclave set apart from the rest of the resort.

A small, exclusive cluster of estates on Casa de Campo®’s western coastal edge — beside the Future Club House parcel, with the Cruise Ship Port to the northwest and Cigar Factory Tours to the east. Caleton has the smallest active inventory of any named neighborhood at the resort; transactions move almost entirely off-market through trusted intermediaries.

Inventory Reality

Caleton operates outside public listings.

There is no public inventory in Caleton at any given time. The enclave’s transactions happen through private introductions — sellers protect privacy, buyers come pre-qualified, and matches happen quietly. We make introductions for buyers we represent; if you’re considering Caleton, the conversation starts before you book a trip.

What Sets It Apart

Three things this corner of Casa de Campo® has that nowhere else does.

Distinct

A small, set-apart enclave

Caleton is one of the smallest named neighborhoods inside Casa de Campo®’s 7,000 acres. The cluster sits at the resort’s far western coastal edge — beside the Future Club House parcel, removed from central resort traffic, accessible only via the western perimeter road.

Distinct

Off-market culture, like Punta Minitas

Caleton operates the way Punta Minitas does — sellers protect privacy, sales move through private introductions rather than public listings, and buyers are pre-qualified before viewings. The enclave does not appear in any public real-estate portal.

Distinct

Western coastal positioning

Where Punta Aguila and Punta Minitas are Casa de Campo®’s south-coast peninsulas, Caleton sits on the resort’s western coastal edge — closer to the main entrance road and the shortest cart-to-airport line. A different rhythm: more private, less golf-and-marina, more coastal seclusion.

How to Buy Here

Three mechanics specific to Caleton.

Mechanic

Private introductions only

There is no public listing to scroll. Buyers come through agents the Caleton sellers already trust. We make introductions for clients we represent and brief sellers’ representatives directly. Plan on weeks, not minutes, to get on a tour.

Mechanic

References and proof of funds upfront

Sellers screen carefully. Before a tour is arranged, expect to share references, bank or attorney letters confirming capacity, and a clear statement of intent. Standard at this end of the market — not a reflection on any individual buyer.

Mechanic

Curated tour, not a catalog

We don’t show you the whole enclave. We narrow to the one or two estates that actually match your brief, coordinate viewings with the owners’ teams, and often have the seller present for the most discreet properties.

Frequently Asked

Caleton — candidly.

Why is there no public listing for Caleton?

Caleton operates as a private enclave. Owners — typically Latin American and European families with long-standing ties to Casa de Campo® — prefer to sell through trusted intermediaries rather than public channels. Sellers don’t want photos of interiors circulating, and they don’t want speculative buyers walking the property.

How many estates are in Caleton?

The cluster is small — well under a dozen estates total. Inventory turns over rarely, and most years see zero or one transaction. When something does come available, it usually moves within weeks once the right buyer is introduced.

Is Caleton inside the Casa de Campo® security perimeter?

Yes. Caleton sits inside the broader Casa de Campo® gated perimeter with the same access protocols as the rest of the resort. But its western coastal position and small size give it a more set-apart feel — fewer roads, less through-traffic, no golf-cart commuters cutting through.

How does Caleton compare to Punta Minitas or Punta Aguila?

All three are top-of-market enclaves with off-market dynamics. Punta Minitas is the older south-coast peninsula with the largest oceanfront lots; Punta Aguila is the newer south-coast peninsula with a private beach and gated checkpoint. Caleton is the smallest of the three, on the western coast, with the most pronounced privacy culture.

What's the airport access from Caleton?

La Romana International (LRM) is roughly 10 minutes by car via the main resort entrance — Caleton’s western position gives it one of the shortest LRM drives of any neighborhood. Punta Cana International (PUJ) is ~50 minutes (45 mi / 72 km). Santo Domingo Las Américas (SDQ) is ~75 minutes (64 mi / 101 km).

Can a foreigner buy in Caleton?

Yes. The Dominican Republic places no restrictions on foreign property ownership in Casa de Campo® or anywhere else in the country. Closing typically takes 30-60 days through a local attorney, with the title registered to the buyer (or buyer’s holding entity) directly.
